More photos... ~ March 29, 2014

I can't promise these are exactly in chronological order but I think you can safely assume:
a.) Owen is growing,
2.) Nora loves her brother and
d.) I love taking photos of our creatures.
(Bonus points to those that get the John Hughes reference.)

Olivia Newton John eat your heart out!

"I like to clench my fist a lot..."

Snowed in? Jamie grows a beard.

We're lost in Elmo's World.

"Nooooo! No nap! No tired..."

"No, no, no! I no need nap!"

Jamie loves having his picture taken as much as Nora does lately...at least Owen doesn't know any better yet.

Owen's first big boy bath!

Sissy helped with the whole bath and reassured him whenever he started to cry. I love how he's staring at her in this pic. Can't wait to see how they interact in the future.

Nora and her friend, Evie.
It makes my heart ache just how adorable and loving they are with each other...until they try and kill each other.
(I always make sure the pics of her and her friends have the other kids' faces obscured for privacy.
If you're the parent of the mentioned/pictured and want the unaltered version please let me know. It should go without saying but I'll say it - if ever you want a pic removed just let me know...)

Evie brought over her firetruck tent to share with Nora to make her feel better.
Nora talked about it the rest of the day after Evie left,
"Evie love me and she even brought her firetruck...mmm-hmmm."
Sometimes our kid sounds like the lead character from Sling Blade.

Notice she still is wearing Christmas shirts in March.
My holiday-geekdom-indoctrination is complete. I rule!

Yes, I love our daughter so much I plan out her birthday for a week-long celebration
including a breakfast cupcake with candle...I am a dork.

Yes, Owen, we're just as frightened of her as you are after she consumes sugar...

It looks like they're conspiring to overthrow us...

Nora's reaction to Sophie's birthday present for her. She LOVES this dress!

Just had to check it out in the mirror.

She was so excited that she waved at herself.

Check out the fancy dance moves...

Owen was being a turd. Nora got worried that it was her but we reassured her that, "Yes, all babies cry like this..."

These were a hit. I only wish we knew who had given them to her but the cards got separated from the presents
in her excitement to look through her presents. Epic mom fail on my part. It still cracks me up how excited she was
to open the shoes. She preened around in them the rest of the day, and the next, and the next...

She is a natural in heels...much to her father's displeasure.

 The many faces of Owen.

How quickly babies can go from mirth to misery is beyond me. This last one is classic.
This was I laughed so hard I pooped my pants.

Her shirt is right. Best. Sis. Ever.

I had made a pallet on the floor for Owen so he could watch Nora play.
She had misunderstood I thought and was running to her room to express her jealousy. Instead, she came running back out with another baby blanket and threw it over the two of them. This is what happened next...

Very serious driver.

Her best friend, Evie, had a firefighter themed birthday party that her mother, Nicole, went all out for. It was awesome.
Nora took a two hour nap when he got home...thank you so much, Aunt Nicole!
